Down with Down Syndrome: Monkey See Monkey Hair do

 To lighten things up a bit I thought I would share one of the first things that made us laugh with Kloe.
From pretty much the time she was born Kody was always comparing Kloe's hair to that of a baby orangoutang. He would literally pull up pictures of Kloe and pictures of this little baby monkey and show them to people. It would look something like this.

I think they are both adorable

When we were in the hospital with Kloe every time a new nurse would come in they would have to make the comment about her hair. They just couldn't believe how much hair she had and that it stood straight up no matter how many time you tried to make it go down. There was even a few doctors who always had to run their fingers through her hair and make it stand up even more. 

Now days Kloe's hair has moved out of the monkey phase and moved on the the rats nest. That looks something like this on a good day.

I can do her hair in the morning and by the time she rides in the car for a few minutes her hair is a mess. She does sit patiently as we comb it out because she loves to look at herself in the mirror and develop all her funny faces though. No matter what style Kloe is rocking that day we love her just the same.
